Last week was a whirlwind for us here at ModusBox. We spent much of the week at MuleSoft’s Connect17 conference (and the weeks before prepping for it). It was a lot of work, but worth every second.
We saw old colleagues, met some new ones, learned a great deal about what MuleSoft has in store, and how others are using the product.
So much went on last week that we’d thought we’d take a minute to reflect on a great event.
Mulesoft Solutions Partner of the Year
Of course, the big news for ModusBox was being recognized as the MuleSoft Solutions Partner of the Year. As we mentioned in the blog post on the subject, we’re thrilled to have received this award. It means so much to us to know that the work we’ve put into our solutions to enhance the MuleSoft platform are appreciated for the value they bring to MuleSoft and our mutual customers.
Metrics, AnyPoint B2B, and JD Edwards
This year we had the opportunity to 
present in the Partner Theater at Connect, and we were excited to share with you a new tool. The ModusBox Metrics Toolkit was well received at the session, where our CTO Kent Brown discussed the problem set that led to the development of the tool. From there, Senior Software Engineer Alan Vezina gave a demonstration of the tool itself, including a peek at some of the customizable visualization available with the product.
We also held a few talks at our home away from home, Booth 24 on the expo floor. These talks, dubbed Sessions+, covered both the add on to MuleSoft’s Anypoint platform – Anypoint B2B – and our connector specifically built for integrating JD Edwards. We really appreciated everyone who cut their breakfast short to join us, and there were quite a few of you who did!
MuleSoft Crowd
Being among the first people in the world to hear about a new MuleSoft product is an amazing experience. This year, MuleSoft announced the latest update to the Anypoint platform, dubbed Crowd. We’re looking forward to exploring everything Crowd has to offer, and you should expect to see a post from us soon on the subject.
ModusMugs
We were so pleased with the reusable thermal mugs that we brought to Connect16 that we decided to revisit those as our booth giveaway this year. If you stopped by and saw us, you probably picked up one of these beauties – a blue tumbler 
with the ModusBux graphic on the front.
What was really special about these mugs is who we got them from. The mugs come from Seattle-based B-corporation, Miir. Core to Miir’s company values is giving back to the community by donating 5% of their profits to trackable giving programs.
We’ve already gotten such positive feedback on the cups, and we’re thrilled that everyone who got one enjoyed not only the swag, but the charitable intent behind it.
